Pulmonaria 'Blue Ensign'

Lungwort is easy to grow in partly shaded places with spring moisture. Blue Ensign forms a slowly expanding clump, about 10" tall and 18-20" wide; the flowers start early in the spring and are electric blue, blooming for several weeks! Deer and critter resistant, most soils. For best foliage appearance, cut back hard after flowering for a fresh flush of leaves.
