You will never see so many redheads in one place again! Redhead Days (Roodharigendag) is the summer festival that takes place in September. It used to be held in the city of Breda, in the Netherlands; however, in 2019 it moved to the city of Tilburg. The three-day event was launched in 2005, and since then it has become a major gathering of redheads from all over the world. It attracts about 40,000 visitors, 6,000 of which are redheads, from 80 different countries, including Micronesia.

Don't forget your camera to take a shot of the most epic gathering of red-haired people from over 50 countries, most of whom are also dressed in one colour. The colour is decided by voting on the festival's website. The festival also focuses on art connected to red hair. There are lectures, demonstrations, live music, delicious food, and kids activities. The festival has a campsite so participants and their families can spend even more time together.

The festival was started when the Dutch painter Bart Rouwenhorst decided to hold an exhibition of 15 portraits of redheads in the town of Asten. He put an ad in a paper to find models; however, instead of 15, he got 150 volunteers. Rouwenhorst gathered a group for a photo shoot, and that's how the first Redhead Day took place.
