John Deere announced a range of new products during Commodity Classic 2024. Among the revelations, the high-power tractors from the 9RX line and the combines from the S7 series stand out.

The 9RX tractors, available in three models with powers of 710, 770 and 830 horsepower. Powered by John Deere Power Systems JD18 engines, these tractors adopt exhaust gas recirculation technology to comply with emissions standards, eliminating the need for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF/Arla); plus an optional 424 liters per minute dual pump hydraulic system to handle larger implements. The new cabin promises 15% more space and a 20% improvement in visibility, along with acoustic insulation and a damping system. G5 Plus CommandCenter™ display and integrated StarFire™ 7500 receiver promise more accurate and efficient operation, with an optional G5 Advanced package offering automation and planning capabilities.

The S7 series of harvesters is made up of four models with nominal powers ranging from 333 hp to 543 hp. They are equipped with JD14 13,6L or JD9 9L engines from John Deere Power Systems. The company promises an increase in productivity of up to 20% and a reduction in fuel consumption by 10%. They also stand out for a management system that spreads cutting waste more efficiently and consumes less energy. The launches also bring updates to the cabin and exterior design.

Both releases will be available for sale from April this year, with deliveries scheduled from April 2025.
