Don't let summer pass you by without delighting your nose with wonderful scents of roses! The roses are at the top of their game right now. The following can all be found in the Rose Garden.

Blonde Ambition Grama Grass

As summer is coming to a close, the grasses are starting to stand out. This is a particular showy grass with seed spikes that look like eyelashes.

Cranesbill

What bright flowers this groundcover has! It can be seen in the Rose Garden.

Hicks Yew

Unlike its fellow conifers who bear seeds in a cone, this conifer encases its seed in a red, fleshy, berry-like structure known as an aril, which has a small opening. Each aril has one seed inside.

Only a couple more days left of summer, come watch the Garden transition into fall! Don't forget to stop and smell the roses!
