The pool was cold but enjoyable. Free 1-hour spa entrance. Nice piano bar. Good shower pressure. Lovely gardens and infinity pool with a view of the sea. Peaceful location. Private terrace with sea views. Good food options. Plenty of sunbathing and swimming options. Daily animation by staff. Plenty of parking. Close to the main road.

Felt very much at home, no reason to complain.

our romantic weekend in costa calma exceeded expectations. the hotel had everything we needed: great food, stunning pool, gym and saunas, and even a nearby running route. the peaceful location and lovely gardens made it extra special.

Something was missing in the room.

The design, layout & gardens of the hotel are superb.

The staffing seemed minimal & not very happy. There was no fresh drinking water available at meal times without having to pay for it. The food choice was average compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Costa Calma. My partner left some garments under her pillow, she e-mailed the hotel that afternoon for them to post the garments back to her (at our cost). The e-mail was read but never replied to.

I recently stayed at R2 Rio Calma for a peaceful getaway. The hotel's beautiful gardens, infinity pool, and lagoon overlooking the sea were truly special. The private terrace in my room offered spaciousness and stunning sea views. The food at the hotel was excellent, with a variety of choices and different meals each evening. I appreciated the gesture of a cold meal for late arrivals and a shower room for departure. The location also provided access to a quiet, wild beach just a few minutes' walk away.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location, tucked away in a quiet out of town area, made for the perfect relaxing getaway. The hotel offered top-notch service, with room service, car hire, and dry cleaning available to guests. The housekeeping was impeccable and the staff were always friendly and attentive. The room amenities were fantastic, with a spacious balcony and terrace to enjoy the stunning views. The hotel also had a wide range of facilities, including a spa and wellness centre with swimming pools and saunas, perfect for unwinding and pampering myself.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The peaceful location and beautiful surroundings provide the ideal setting for a quiet and rejuvenating stay.

spacious rooms, unique gardens, very tasty and diverse food, excellent entertainment program, good swimming pools, great place to relax. You can find all necessary facilities in the hotel complex without leave it. If you want to swim in the ocean, you can easily reach nearby sandy beaches.

Waiters at the restaurant don't speak English. Since the hotel complex has excellent exterior that requires more to reflect on the details in the rooms, for example, TV sets to be replaced with modern TVs LCD. Put into the room coffee and tea-making facilities

Large hotel in a quiet part of Fuerteventura. The food in the buffet restaurant is good, staff is friendly, room is very clean, the gardens are very nice, lot's of outside swimming pools.

Very slow free wifi in the lobby, in the hotel is a room with 4 pc's with these all also very slow (and you have to buy a ticket for 30 minutes at the reception, not very modern). The surroundings of the hotel are not as nice as the hotel is self. This neighborhood is developed for many hotels (routes are ready), but this is the only hotel this side of costa calma. This is a problem all over Fuerteventura (they get a lot less EU money). The personal speaks better German than English, also a Fuerteventura problem. The inside pool is very small and loaded with fat old Germans. Finally, the gym is equipped with very old equipment, many are broken. But despite these, the hotel is very good.

I loved the hotel's location on top of a very steep hill. Although it was a bit of a walk, the view from the cocktail bar with a pianist playing was worth the effort. The hotel was spotless and the staff always friendly and accommodating. Additionally, I really enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel. There were many options available from the Canary islands for the buffet.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Great location, clean and comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff, variety of food options including vegetarian and children-friendly buffet, marvellous New Year's Eve gala dinner.

No complaints.

The hotel gives a magic atmosfhere. The garden, the palms, all the trees are so fantastic. The perfect place to relax, enjoy the sea, practise any kind of acquatic sports, windsurf, kitesurf, sailing, diving ..... The restaurant is very good, people can enjoy the meal in front of the sea. All the staff are very kind and friendly.
