Wonderfully peaceful location, great views, quaint and comfortable cottage, very helpful and friendly staff - a superb get-away-from-it-all place to stay. Lovely meal at the main Quinta in a gorgeous setting in the garden. The pool was perfect for relaxing by and for a refreshing swim. We loved our stay here.
Mattress slightly too firm for our backs but the staff were very helpful in trying to resolve this.

Beautiful quinta, nice views, great atmosphere, excellent service and hospitality. We booked two adjacent rooms downstairs, so we had direct access to the beautiful garden. Our children (10 + 7 years) felt free to play in- and outdoors. We loved staying at this place! Next time in Madeira, we would definitely book Quinta das Vinhas again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property, situated amidst beautiful gardens and vineyards. Our large, well-equipped cottage provided picturesque views of the surrounding hills, and the spotless bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was scrumptious with a variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed exploring the nearby village and found several shops close by. The on-site facilities such as the lounge and the pool added to the relaxing ambiance.
Although the property was generally delightful, the initial check-in process was a bit confusing and could have been made more straightforward.

Stunning views and a great location for exploring the local countryside were some of the best aspects of our holiday. The comfortable beds and cozy common areas really made us feel at home. We enjoyed waking up to a delicious breakfast and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The bar snacks were a surprise as we had expected dinner every night. The selection was limited and we would have preferred a proper meal.
