Clefable, an advanced form of Clefairy. These unique creatures are among the rarest Pokémon in the world.

Clefable is one of the Pokemon that evolved by Moonstone. It’s one of the “cute, pink” Pokemon, like Jigglypuff’s family. Sometimes I think it’s redundant to have both Jigglypuff and Clefairy families. Clefable is supposedly rare; I suppose it’s never found in the wild, but you can evolve any Clefairy to get it. Clefable’s family also supposedly came from the moon.

Appearance-wise, Clefable’s shape looks a lot like Gengar’s shape, which makes fans wonder if Gengar is an evil version of Clefable, maybe its shadow? Maybe Clefable is Gengar when it was alive? Those lines around its eyes make it look rather tired. Its pose makes it look like it’s using Metronome (“Wag Finger” in Japanese), a move that was in Gen I, only learned by Clefairy and Clefable by level-up.

Stat-wise, it has good HP, decent Sp Attack, and Defenses. Clefable’s only usefulness comes from its ability Magic Guard, which until Gen V, was exclusive to the Clefable family. Magic Guard protects the Pokemon from non-attacking damage, which makes Clefable useful as a stalling Pokemon.
