This complex is about 1500 metres from Sotavento beach, a paradise of golden sands, pure turquoise water, and welcoming beach eateries. La Lajita, a lovely fishing community with many bars, shops, and restaurants, is only 5 kms away. The natural park of Ajuy (13 km), the historical village of Betancuria (28 km), the overlook at Morro Velosa (32 km), and the village of La Alcogida (35 km) with its traditional architecture are among the most interesting sites to visit nearby.

Location

Costa Calma on Fuerteventura’s eastern shore is just as it sounds. It is surrounded by an almond-colored beach, which is popular with families due to its shallow water. The resort also serves as a gateway to the south-western volcanoes and colourful birdlife of Jandia Natural Park.

Guests can participate in a variety of sports organised by the activity team. A fitness facility featuring ping-pong, billiards, darts, and sjoelbak is also available to guests. Windsurfing, surfing, kite boarding, and diving are all available at the local beach, Sotavento (more information at the reception). The hotel’s sports facilities include squash, a gym, a heated swimming pool for adults and one for children, a sun terrace with deck chairs and parasols, and a mini club for children aged 4 to 16. There is also a shuttle service to the beach.
