These High School Kids Scared the Westboro Baptist Protestors off Their Turf

A group of high schoolers scared the Westboro Baptist protestors away from their school in support of their transgender prom queen.

The Westboro Baptist Church protestors are truly the cockroaches of our society. Will they ever die out? If the rapture happens, will they be the only ones to survive, purely because they are made of radioactive filth? Just when we thought it was impossible to get rid of them, a group of high school students managed to scare them away. High. School. Students.

A group of high schoolers are shown in this video scaring the protestors away from their school in Kansas City, Missouri last week, the Huffington Post reports. The cockroach monster hate group was gathered to protest "the recent election of a transgender girl as homecoming queen." But when Westboro showed up to yell and picket Oak Park High School on Thursday, Oct. 1, they were met by a huge rally of students who were there to support transgender homecoming queen Landon Patterson.

The signs in support of Patterson were adorned with phrases like "Westboro Baptist Church need Jesus" and chanting "long live the queen!" The Westboro Baptist Church has been classified as a hate group, due to their consistent protests bearing slogans like "God Hates Fags." Thanks to these brave high school students and counter-protestors everywhere, their message grows weaker every day.
