Unknown Stelis species – Costa Rica.
This is a nice little hairy Stelis species that is found in humid rainforests in Costa Rica. It´s pitty that all Stelis sp have been neglected for a long time. So many nice little species but not much effort is done to describe them all.
I have many species in my vivaria but not many of them have a name. Sad. I hope this will be different in the future.
This sp is 3,5 – 4 mm in size. Flowers a lot and it flowers for several months. Like many other Stelis sp thay prefer very humid conditions to open up it´s flowers. So no fog, no flowers.
Temperatures in my vivaria now in winter is: Min temp +10°C to Max temp +19°C. Good air circulation and lot´s of humidity.
