Spathiphyllum is a great option for people with asthma symptoms. It greatly reduces the amount of toxins that commonly trigger an attack.
This plant will bloom best in high light. It won’t bloom much in low light but will continue to grow.
Keep the soil moist but not wet or soggy. This plant will wilt when it gets dry but after watering its leaves will pop back up.
The humidity around this plant should be high. Either group it with more houseplants or set it on a tray of gravel and water. Make sure the pot is above the water.
Fertilize frequently to have this plant thrive. It will grow faster and bloom better. Use a general-purpose fertilizer and follow the directions on the packaging.
