Where to Find Galarian Articuno in Sword & Shield

If you're looking for where to find Galarian Articuno, you'll find the various methods listed down below, along with any notes or special locations. This should help you figure out how to get Articuno in Pokémon Sword & Shield. (Currently this does not show most "strong" static encounters or Max Raid Battles.)

Special Ways to Get Galarian Articuno

After visiting the Dyna Tree Hill in the Crown Tundra (DLC) as part of one of the Crown Tundra adventures, the Galarian versions of the legendary birds will fly off. Galarian Articuno can be found roaming around the Crown Tundra. You will need to track it down, battle it, and then catch it. (If it is knocked out, it will immediately respawn, but you will have to track it down again.) (Only one can be caught per game save.)

Notes About Galarian Articuno

This Pokémon is Shiny-locked by all current encounter methods and thus cannot be legitimately obtained as a Shiny in-game.
