Van Lierop Park was a park I had no idea about and I had most of the parks bookmarked or so I thought for the area. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. This park is situated right off of the Foothills Trail heading west and is right by the wonderful Farm to Table restaurant, Farm 12. We timed it perfectly as there were a whole bunch of blooms from some plant off of both sides of the trail. This park is more for a casual stroll and for bench sitting to take in the view and fresh air as there aren't really any other park amenities here. But the stroll is great and definitely go through in late spring, early summer to take in all the blooms to maximize the experience. Path conditions are very well maintained and smooth through here to match the good trail maintenance of the nearby Foothills Trail.
