I ordered the Pad Thai to go and it was the BEST Pad Thai I have experienced in my life!
Plenty of peanuts, sliced carrots as well as shredded carrots. But here's the best part: plenty of mushrooms!!!
The tofu was cooked perfectly - a bit crispy, just like I prefer it. The cabbage was fresh and crispy.
The heat level was spot on too. I ordered it "extra spicy" and they really came through for me! They included two packets of cayenne pepper, but I didn't need it.
I repeat: BEST.PAD.THAI.EVER!
Five solid stars!!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Business owner information

Brent, that's what we love to hear! We'll be sure to let the kitchen know the pad Thai really knocked you off your feet. We don't mess around when it comes to perfectly cooked tofu and mushrooms! We can't wait to have you back to try more of our menu soon.
All the best,

The Shrimp Pad Thai was delicious! I substituted the stir fried rice noodle for the big flat noodle and ordered some steam dumplings and I loved every bit of it!
I received great service too! A great in and out spot.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

You said you loved every bit of your meal, Charity, but we loved every bit of this review! You should always be able to get the food you want, which is why we're happy to make customizations to any meal. Hoping to have you back soon for more stir-fried noodles and steamed dumplings!

Awesome spot located in a shopping center in Addison! I thought it was going to be a fast food type of Asian restaurant like Panda Express, and I was definitely wrong! This place is legit! They even have a chalkboard that offers off the menu items such as larb (meat salad)!
I ordered the tom khai soup (spicy coconut milk based soup, mushroom, onion, lemongrass, limejuice, fresh chili) and it came out in a big bowl with plenty of chicken in it! I asked for 4 out of 5 for the spice level and that was a good enough amount of heat for me! Besides being a tad bit salty, the tom khai soup was delicious! And the cashier working there was so attentive. She checked on me three times during my 30 minute lunch there! Oh, and the prices are great! The entrees range from $7.95 to $8.95.
Come check this place out if you're in the area! I know I'll definitely be back!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The only way to make a day of shopping better, Ryan, is to add a bowl of our tom kha soup! As a traditional Thai restaurant, we definitely have our spice levels down, and we're glad to hear that our level four was the perfect amount of heat for you. Hoping to see you back for another quick, affordable lunch!
Best wishes,

Ha! We ordered from here for the first time since my last review (5 years ago), and review is pretty much the same. Curry was decent and summer rolls were good, but man they still do NOT know how to make pad Thai.
The Pad Thai is really bad. The only flavoring is salty. No tamarind, no lime. And raw cabbage took up a 1/3 of the container. I'm kind of mad at myself for not remembering and letting hubs order from there.
Someone who works there--- please order pad Thai from Banana Leaf, Thai Orchid, or Bangkok on
Beltline and see what it's supposed to taste like.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Mindi, this is disappointed to read. We're proud of our recipes and want all our guests to be thrilled, whether they dine-in or not. We'd love to welcome you into our place so you can enjoy your meals hot and fresh.
In the meantime, when was it that you called for delivery?
Hope to hear back soon,
The ThaiBOX Addison TeamJun 19, 2016Previous reviewIt wasn't horrible (well, the Pad Thai was), but there are so many better options nearby. Hubs and the kid both liked theirs. He got the flat noodle beef thing and she got shrimp lo mein. And we shared some dumplings and spring rolls. The apps were all pretty standard, and her lo mein was fine. Just nothing extraordinary. Portions were good, delivery was fairly quick. Overall, not bad, but there's better around.

Dining in the age of corona.....what a treat! Meaning it's a treat to finally get away from the stove, where I've been toiling away, in order to make perfectly well-balanced and nutritious meals that family will love. Who am I kidding.....these days I just throw whatever I have in the pantry together to make it an easy cook day. Let's just say I don't have to add cheese to my dishes to bribe kiddos to eat what I've made, like those Kraft commercials. But I digress...way off track, I almost made it to Canada.....road-tripping of course....not flying during the coronapocalypse.
On to the food!
Got some really good Singapore noodles. Very flavorful and the right amount of spice. A plus that they let you select your spicy level. Fried dumplings were also pretty tasty. The rest of the family settled for fried rice blah blah blah. They don't like to venture much with food. They were satisfied with their dishes but hoping they'll try something new so I can eat off their plates next time. Taking a star off because they forgot to add the extra rolls we ordered. I recommend.....but please, try something off their menu that doesn't include fried and rice together.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Ordering Singapore noodles beat cooking any day of the week, Jesus! Although your family didn't stray far from the fried rice, we believe that it's a great thing to order for your first visit -- now that they know they enjoy our food, they can feel comfortable branching out (and letting you have a few bites)! The next time you feel like having something other than Kraft cheese, come and see us.

I normally like this restaurant for Thai food and have ordered several times. Recently I've noticed that whenever you order a shrimp fried rice, there is less and less shrimp, and it's just a big container of rice.
If they could change this part of their new food model, I would increase the rating.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We appreciate being one of your go-to places for Thai, Danielle, although we're sorry you've been disappointed with your recent orders. Unfortunately, there is a rise in seafood prices at the moment, and in order to keep our dishes at their current price, we have had to decrease the quantity in some meals. We understand your frustration, but we hope you understand the decisions we've made as a local business. Hoping to see you here for more Thai soon.
Thank you,

Loved this place! Tastefully appointed without being overdone. Service was counter service and then your food is brought out to you. They were friendly, which was nice.
I ordered the corn patty appetizer, which was not as crispy as I normally expect, but it was tasty, REALLY tasty! My main course was Pad See Ew with Chicken. It was really good as well.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and ordered dinner to be delivered via Yelp/Grubhub. I placed my order on a Tuesday around 7:40 and was given an ETA of 50-60 minutes. I'd left instructions for the driver to meet me outside my hotel since I wasn't comfortable giving out my room number. The driver called me when he arrived, close to the 50-minute mark, and I was able to successfully collect my order. The delivery guy's English wasn't great, but he was really friendly and patiently waited for me when I came down from my room.
I got a small Tom Kha soup, a corn patty appetizer, and the sesame chicken entrée, substituting the jasmine rice with fried rice for an extra $0.50. My order came to just over $15 for food alone, then just under $20 after tax and a 20% tip (free delivery). I was pretty famished since I hadn't eaten all day due to working and flying from DC to Dallas, but for under $20, the amount of food I got was generous, and I was almost bursting after I finished eating it all.
The sesame chicken entrée in particular had a very generous amount of chicken, and plenty of flavorful sauce. I'd ordered the soup with medium heat, and really didn't find it to be very spicy. The flavors were really great, very aromatic. The weakest link was probably the corn patties, which I thought lacked flavor. Maybe it's better if you don't eat them right after having the Tom Kha soup, but in any case I probably wouldn't order them again.
I really enjoyed my dinner and the delivery process was pretty convenient. Definitely a solid option if you're in the area!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Connie, it's great we were able to deliver amazing service and satisfy your hunger in under an hour. We're the giving type, so the generous portions and friendly staff are part of the package, and we're glad you appreciate it. Thank you for all your support and feedback. Next time your tummy is grumbling, we'll be here to quiet it.

Ordered Thai Basil and was so excited for big flavor. Dish was out in 2 minutes and was piping hot, drenched in sauce. Obviously wasn't fresh and was scooped out of a warmer. Little to no basil flavor. Not bad, just what I would expect for $6 at a mall. Good hospitality gives them 2 stars instead of 1

Delicious food!
I don't even like pad Thai but my husband does. I kept stealing bites off of his plate. Soooo good.
I ordered seaweed salad, lightly crunchy and so good.
I also order Tom Yum soup, the one without noodles. So so so good, I wish I would have gotten it with the noodles, though. I did add shrimp. Next time I'll get noodles and tofu.
We also ordered the 5 butterfly shrimp with their homemade sweet and sour.
Everything we got was great. I've bookmarked this establishment for our next time we are in the area. Check it out! You won't be disappointed unless you have something wrong with your tastebuds. ;pHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
