We came here after 7pm on a Saturday and there were a few people here. I believe this place used to be a Taco Bell so that was why this place was cozy for a pho restaurant. There was plenty of parking as well. The menu had appetizers, pho, rice plates, and drinks. I believe there was more but those were the ones I looked at.
We ordered A4 Goi Guon ($5.95), a large #17 Pho Tai ($10.75) and a B21 Strawberry Smoothie ($3.75). The Goi Guon was good and the peanut sauce was like similar in taste to what I was used to. The broth of the Pho Tai was good to me and similar to other restaurants. The portion was big enough for one person to be comfortably full. The Strawberry Smoothie came with boba and both the boba and strawberry smoothie tasted good to me.
PhoTastic had good pho and I would probably be back in the future.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ryan C.Simi Valley, CA056Dec 20, 2022
truly some of the best pho i've ever had. we got our food very soon after we ordered it and we were taken care of without any issues and it wasn't like we were being ignored. deserves much more attention, very underrated.

What a great place. The broth is clean and super flavorful. Staff is nice and helpful. I ordered pho with flank.....all was excellent. As you know seems all restaurant price jumped up after Cobid and the reopening. Pho-Tastic does not stick it to you for the price of a meal. Great food and a good price. I will be returning.

This was good until I find out when Togo. The phone and the soup was not even hot like regular water room temperature. Must be old soup or they want to keep it for next day. Not recommended

Good food, clean place, pleasant staff and reasonable price. Love their bbq pork and bbq beef with rice, soup and salad. Surely, I highly recommend this place.

The pho here is delicious but this review is solely on the vegetarian egg rolls. Now I don't eat meat besides chicken so finding egg rolls cooked without meat/seafood is hard to find in a Vietnamese restaurant. I'm glad I ventured and tried these out! The veggie egg rolls here are the best I've had. Seriously, I can't stop placing orders just for the egg rolls lol. Inside the filing is taro and veggies. The taro makes its 100% better. And the outside is fried to perfection. It's so flaky that you can here the crunchiness in every bite. These bad boys are seriously bomb as hell. Definitely an appetizer must!

I really enjoy the Pho Tai here. The broth is very tasty and they give a decent amount of beef which I do not normally experience at other restaurants. Quick service. They give you a glass of ice water upon sitting with a little hint of lime, nice and refreshing. Enjoy!

Pleasantly clean, quaint decoration. Pho is tasty but the meat and tendons are tough, need to cook longer for less chewing effort. I would go back to sample other dishes for my curiosity taste buds with the hope that the owner would spare her beautiful smiles when handing out the menu. Smiles are free, don't hold back to welcome you customers.

PhoTastic is located in a very busy plaza right off Capitol Expressway. Parking can be limited during busy hours but if you are willing to take a very short walk, it will be okay.
First of all the service was okay but I was not down for the offensive comments that the worker (seems to be the host?) made. Please be mindful on what you say to customers even if you think they don't speak Vietnamese.
The food is subpar. The broth in the pho did not taste fresh and was very salty. There was nothing special about it. The Bun Thit Nuong was mostly filled with bean sprouts and other veggies. It was very difficult to eat especially with the small amount of meat they had given. We tried their Soursop smoothie and it was probably the best thing we had at the restaurant sadly even though we tasted mostly ice and artificial flavoring in it.
There is really nothing special about this place. I say take your money elsewhere.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Greg K.San Jose, CA106111Jan 4, 2020
I spent about 20 minutes looking for a Vietnamese restaurant for a specific dish that happens to have a fried chicken wing to go along with a pork chop over rice. Thanks to Yelp, I found what I was looking for. The pics of the Menu were relatively current. I called in an order and asked about the chicken wing since the menu said "Fried Chicken Short Wings". I ordered the 46 and the girl, who barely knew how to speak English, said yes we have.
I get to the place and what do you know, they don't carry chicken wings at all. And they didn't start making my order (3 orders) until I got there.
So weak. Please update your menu. And please give me correct information when I am trying to validate food on the menu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
