Attentive staff beautiful location, very clean facilities. Enjoyed everything about our stay and the different restaurants we dined in on property were all quite good. It's a long way from the USA but I would definitely go back:-)

Absolutely beautiful hotel in Gran Canaria. The grounds are well maintained and tastefully done.

Came here for an event one night and had a great experience. The outdoor amenities were so well designed lots of people were taking pictures. The resort boosted 5 pools all over the complex, lots of outdoor bars.

The drinks were reasonably priced, service was however very very lacking and unfriendly. The staff does need extra customer service training.

Overall I would definitely come back.

If there were 6 or even 10 stars this place would get them from me.

We have been here twice now and we have been looking forward for the last 10 months to visit again this year.

We never stayed actually at this Hotel Resort, but we have been to their Wellness Corralium Spa. This is not just any Spa this is an "exclusive health experience" and there are only 2 in the World (the other is on mainland Spain).

The Hotel itself is a grand experience and we (normal beings) were always a little too intimidated to set foot on the ground - we were thinking we'd be challenged for residency or soiling the delicate grassy pathways.
      Which was a shame.. -
So once we decided to actually do so and we were met by an impressive courtyard with brass luggage trolleys and smart dressed page boys & girls. Valets and security guards and they were all very friendly and 'hola' was exchanged several times.

The reception is like one you would find in a World Trade Centre or fancy Swiss bank. A huge lounge with sofa's and work corners and in the middle a chrome and mahogany service desk.

The reception overlooks the inner sanctum, sun-loungers every where and places to catch the sun and be sheltered from wind (if any and if needed).
The thing that I noticed was that the majority of people on the ground were in white dressing gowns. It was like stepping into an very tranquil psychiatric hospital for the very rich - which is not that far of the mark I guess.
They boast a big white stone terrace and a infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean flanked by pool bars and restaurants. - Free peanuts with your beer! (or champagne cocktail)

This palatial place houses a world exclusive Spa Resort, which is to our surprise open for the public - and to our bigger surprise: affordable (ish)

Oh were to start. From the hotel reception you go to the below floor to the conference ground, then another floor below and you are at the entrance of the Welness Corralium Spa - you pay €75 (2012) for two people for the WHOLE day. that includes towels slippers and dressing gown (beige -not white - this is important)
and you bring your own bikini or trunks - this is not a nude resort. If you forgot them you can get some across the street. (You may wonder how WE knew that..)

17 treatment rooms thus if this is your first time you are invited to go on a tour with one of the spa girls.
From birthing rooms, Pink Lava salt, Turkish bath, thallasso, bubble, deep sea, steam room, mind relaxing, massage, cooling, ICE rooms and African Savannah sauna. But 2 treatments were our favourites and I shall elaborate on those.

The Dead Sea pool - Grotto
So thick with salt you can do all but sink. so lay back and relax. sometimes they play music and you may actually fall asleep - but relax it will!

      The Concourse
This is about the attack on your senses, nerve-system and every single molecule in your body.
ice water up to you knees, you stay in there walking for 5 minutes, then warm down in a 'lagoon' of body temperature waterfalls.

There is the Rain Room where every sort of rain can be simulated - yes even an monsoon!
and our favourite - the hugging wall - warm water flows down a wall and you hug.. it is heaven against the wall.

They offer 'room service' lunches or you can bring your own.

You are even able to take a dip in the infinity pool and mix with the white bathrobes, well they know you are from the Spa and not a resident, but they treat you as a guest nonetheless!

what an experience to be had by all. Recommended
