First dinner in Pertisau. A cosy restaurant with a traditional interior, that also has an outside sitting area.
I was quite happy with my entree and main - garlic soup and a Tiroler Gröstl - Speck, beef, potatoes and a fried egg heaped into a fry pan and a side of Kraut salad. I absolutely loved my dishes - they were delicious.
However my partner ordered from the Austrian menu (I ordered from the local Tirol menu) and his meat plate was okay. It was presented oddly and it had grilled pineapple and peach on it as well, which probably isn't Austrian....
Also we ordered one serve of Kaiserschmarrn, which was okay. It was served with Preiselbeeren and it was crusted with sugar, but there were no raisins, which I thought was strange.
Otherwise, I would still come back - I would just advise to stick to the local, Tirolean dishes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
