Discount Tire

1045 appoinment took me in at 1145. This was the same thing happened last time. Cj has a horrible attitude when i asked him what was taking so long The guy raised his voice very loud when i asked him nicely what was taking so long...

Shaky start. Wrong tire size was ordered and put on. However management and staff was quick to act and make the mistake better. Must say even tho I was not pleased with the mistake, there attention to making sure the situation was resolved quickly and smoothly sure made me happier.

Made an appointment to bring my car in to get my winter tires put on. Called the previous day and was told they have open availability all morning, so I made an appointment for 10:15 AM. Got there 10 minutes in advance & the parking lot was full. Informed them I made an appointment and was told it was first come first serve & I had to wait. No communication on why or how long.

If that's the case, don't make reservations. If you're behind, call those appointments and cancel or ask them to reschedule. I get that things happen but it's on the business to properly communicate vs wasting their customers' time.

I bought my tires online and when they arrive discount tires called me. I was able to get in the next day with an appointment and they were installed within a half hour. Very prompt and reliable. Would highly recommend

The tires on my pickup were getting a bit worn and I thought I could put on a new set and get a much better trade-in value - and that is how it worked out. Shopped around on-line and found Discount Tire offered the same tires at a reasonable replacement price. They have a handy Website: it explains all the pricing, prices are shown out-the-door, the pricing you get when you show up at the store is the same as the Website quote, inventory availability is shown so you know if they have them in stock, and any choices you might have to upgrade are listed ... all great marks of an on-line presence. Liked my experience at this place a lot.

When you show up they either come out and greet you before you hit the door, or do so once you enter. Their staff was really excellent. Once you make arrangements for tires, they seem to work in two-man teams across their four open bays. One guy works around the car and removes the wheels and takes off the old rubber and resets the new tire ... while the other fella does the spin balancing and remounts the wheel/tire on the vehicle. Nice and efficient.

I came on a rainy day so the business wasn't backed up. I was in and out in 30 minutes flat. I worked with Andres and he was perfect. Knowledgeable and friendly. I came in knowing prices from the Website, but he still took the time to show me alternatives. I stayed with what I had in mind and it was a easy transaction. You generally don't have to order tires in, as they have a large stock inventory at the end of the building. Good place - if you need tires give it a try.

I have had several cars serviced here. The prices are great without sacrificing quality. They have a great waiting room with complimentary bottled water an a plethora of magazines and wi-fi.

The staff is always very nice. I'm a bit concerned that I've never seen a female employee at any of the locations.Even in their ad on the wall of service since the 60s not one woman is pictured.

These guys are the best there technicians do everything by the book .. I watched them start to finish this is the only place to get tires and they match price if you find the tires lower .. Saturday is there busy day ..

Not worth the discount. Got my tires a year ago after going with their recommendation over the tires I wanted and they do NOT perform well in rain or snow as I specified I needed. Today, I take my vehicle in for tire rotation & balance and I get my car back with tire pressures at 27 when they should be at 33. When I called to ask why my tire pressure was left unchecked I was told by the rep that he didn't know. I asked how do I know that my tires were even rotated and balanced to which he replied with another, I don't know.

Apparently scheduling a service time means nothing, you can show up 15 minutes early for your scheduled time and it will be an hour before they even look at your car no matter what. They clearly overbook and will even take walk-ins before you, ESPECIALLY if your tires are under warranty and service is free. Aweful customer service. I'll reconsider where I get my next set of tires.

I came in for a rotation and balancing and they refused. They wanted me to buy new tires. I went to the store in New Lennox and they took care of me. I will go there to replace these tires in the summer.
