  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 4-6 ft (1.2-1.8 m), broadly spreading, dense habit.  Leaves to 10 by 5 cm, elliptic, recurved.  Flowers, coral rose with prominent dark blotch (eye), funnel-campanulate, about 6 cm across, frilled at the edge, borne in upright, spherical, tight, clusters (trusses) of 9-15 flowers.
