Modern Japan Terrace

Kraków

The realization of the Modern Japan project is the result of the investor's passion for Far Eastern culture and the need to create a modern, minimalist space with a special focus on details and materials.

The terrace has become not only an outdoor space but also an additional open salon with diverse functionality. It has been carefully arranged to provide various possibilities for use.

The finishing touch to the entire project is the subtle terrace illumination that enhances its unique ambiance.

A key aspect in designing the terrace was the load on the ceiling. We designed all the planter elements to meet the technical requirements of the building. Additionally, specially selected substrates were used to fill them, minimizing the weight on the terrace.

Materials: Steel, natural slabs of granite and basalt, cut graywacke, porcelain floor tiles.

Plants: The main accent is a 20-year-old bonsai. Other plants include Japanese azalea Rhododendron Maruschka, mountain pine Pinus mugo, and screens made of ivy Hedera helix and field maple Acer campestre.
