Origanum ‘Buckland’

Origanum ‘Bucklands’ is one of the smaller growing ornamental oreganos. It hasn’t taken to life in the dry garden because more vigorous plants have swamped it. In the stock beds, where it has no competition it has done much better. It is more a rock garden plant really. It grows 15cm tall by as much across and the arching twiggy stems clothed in small bristly round leaves is topped by lovely pink and green hop like flowers.
