Tangelo Seminole Citrus Tangelo
Tangelo Seminole – is a heavy cropping tree growing to around 3-4m. The fruit is quite large, and shaped similar to a grapefruit, but with a flat bottom. It is sweet and juicy with a thin skin and has seeds. Fruits in winter – Spring
Tangelos like to be planted in full sun in free draining, improved soil with lots of nutrients. Feed regularly with a quality fertiliser.
The fruit is similar to a Minneola, but has seeds and the shape of the fruit is similar to a grapefruit. The tree is a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit, so is quite sweet and tangy.
