Our visit to the #FingerLakes was highlighted with a visit to Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery! Dr. Frank was the OG…the first to plant vinifera in the Finger Lakes! 👆

Salmon Run Wines is their “more affordable” brand of wines. While Dr. Frank wines are estate grown – Salmon Run Wines however are fermented of grapes sourced from multiple vineyards throughout the Finger Lakes Region!

Salmon Run Refers to the landlocked Salmon swimming through the deep waters of the Finger Lakes of New York. 🐟

We are enjoying the 2019 vintage Salmon Run 30th Anniversary Riesling! This is an off dry riesling with bright notes of lemon, lime, pineapple, and peach. The finish lingers with a soft minerality. 🍋

This bottle sold at the winery for under $15! It is a very nice representation of Finger Lakes riesling. This one seems immensely worthy of ordering a full case! 💵
