Love is not just in the air but also on the internet. Valentine’s Day is here and Google Doodle is celebrating the day with a scientific twist. The giant search engine ditched the melodramatic road and proved that love is all about the ‘adrenaline’ rush between two people. Giving a logical spin to elucidate the ‘chemical high’.
Valentine’s Day Google Doodle Chemistry CuPd laid out a game wherein you can take a personality quiz. Similar to dating apps, you can select your ideal match by swiping right and can bond with Hydrogen, Fluorine, Chlorine, Iodine, et al.
“Diatomic molecules are made from a bond between two atoms. Sometimes it’s a bond between the same element like H2 (hydrogen),” said the Google Doodle post. It further described, “Choose an avatar from the periodic table or take a quiz to get matched to the one that best fits your personality. Then it’s time to start swiping through profiles of various elements to make bonds! Each element is very different so be sure to read their profiles so you know when to swipe right.”
Take a look:
The doodle will first ask you to select a chemical element and bond with other elements. After reading a brief summary about the elements, you can swipe right to bond an element. You can end the interactive game by swiping left to form a bond with another element.
