Favorite current hobby

Right now, it’s tennis! 🎾 I recently joined a tennis club here in New York and try and go a few mornings before work each week. Those in the NYC office can vouch that I often have my racket with me after clinics in the morning.

If you could start a movement, what would it be?

My movement would be to keep the Tompkins Square Park Tree lit year-round. It’s a small movement that doesn’t affect many, HOWEVER it’s a small thing that brings me joy every day. It stayed lit through the end of March this year, and if it was dusk or dark when I left the office or was walking around, I always took the long way home so I could admire the tree. The tree itself is quite ugly; it looks like a grown-up version of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. It’s small but mighty and when lit looks fabulous.

What’s something inspiring you right now?

Flowers blooming! Spring is my favorite reminder of fresh starts and new beginnings. Plus, flowers are beautiful. I have a quote hanging up in my bedroom from legendary interior designer, Elsie de Wolfe that reads, “I am going to make everything around me beautiful — that will be my life.” Flowers bring me great joy and really do make everything around me feel a bit more beautiful.

Also, on a less serious note, I recently bought a projector for my bedroom. It’s revolutionary. My best friends in NYC and I all have projectors. Sometimes after we’ve all spent time together, we each have our own respective projector time.

What part of your job brings you the most joy?

The community at Red Havas! Since joining in January, getting to know my co-workers so early on at Red Retreat and later in the NYC office has been such a great experience. It truly feels like we all are our biggest fans. Enjoying going to the office every week and feeling part of the community has brought me immense joy.
