How to fertilize Pink Quill Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Quill Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Watering Bromeliads Can/Should you bottom water bromeliads? I know they say to water at like the stem, & the water kinda pools where the leaves branch out, & that's nature's design. But, I'm used to bottom watering my plants, & I'm just not sure if I should continue that with Dusty Rose, or not. I'd also hate to begin worrying about fungus gnats 😆 #bromeliad #water #bottomwatering #happyplants #question #planttherapy #pinkquill #pinkquillplant #gnatproblem

Just got the plant yesterday as a gift and it’s gorgeous. I don’t want to over water it. My app says I should water it every 6 days but from what I read it should be every 2 weeks. I have a grow light on it 9 hours a day. What should I do? #PinkQuillPlant

Care Summary for Pink Quill Plant
Pink Quill Plant
Greg recommends:
0.5 cups every 12 days
< 1ft from a window
Repot after 2x growth
Based on the 4” pot your plant is in, and that it doesn’t get direct sunlight.
What other plant parents say
Spray with water once a week for example water every Monday and no other day of the week. After you spray it water, gently shake the water off so the plant won’t have any water left in between the leaves or the leaves will turn brown and the whole plant will dry out and die. I keep my plant either on my windowsill that gets a lot of sunlight or somewhere where the sun hits them but not direct sunlight unless you live somewhere that has a stable temperature and doesn’t get below 50° or rain all the time.
