How to fertilize Tiger Lily
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Tiger Lily after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Guys! My neighbor was nice enough to give me some of her #tigerlily bulbs as she was thinning them out! How should I go about housing these babes? One is a wild orange color, and the larger one is white. The bulbs have pretty healthy looking roots, already, but I've never grown anything from a bulb before! Any advice is helpful! #propagation #lily #bulbs #newplants

Watering Tiger Lily bulbs... How should I go about watering freshly planted Tiger Lily bulbs? Should I just water them as I would the full grown plant? I planted them in damp, but not wet, top soil with perlite. They're in full sun for 3-6 hours a day, on my north-facing kitchen window. The app seems to be telling me to water as if it's a full grown flower already, but I know I can rot out the bulb if I water it too much. Thanks! #tigerlily #bulbhelp #bulbs #lilies #plantingbulbs

I found this plant growing in my yard, I didn’t know what it was. I am going to pull Lily up and put it in and pot. I will find a good spot for it, and watch it. #TigerLily

Summer jungles! The #newgrowth just keeps coming! I looked into my front window from the outside this morning and realized how apparent the #greens were! My #tigerlily is about to bloom, too! My #sweetpeppers are getting thick and strong, #pothos going nuts, #zucchini sprout that's less than a week old and already 3 inches tall, #jalapeñopepper seedlings started, and a #sweetpotato that I'm hoping will sprout. Even my bioactive #carpetpython enclosure is thriving! The #crocodilefern seems to be happy in there, and I think the isopods are helping with some of the leaves that weren't doing so well. I even got some special seeds to pop, and I'm going to turn my extra closet into a plant room. :)

Speaking of new growth.. My neighbor gifted me some of her #tigerlily bulbs last year, and the white one that I was most excited about has been *bursting* to life. I know these grow like weeds and are one of those things that are really hard to kill, but that's exactly the reason my grandmother would keep these, and only these. It's my first "bulbed" plant, and I'm surprised it's thriving so well. I moved it to a new pot today, thinking I was anticipating future growth. Apparently, I was already late, judging from this #rootporn! I can't wait to see this beauty bloom!
