How to fertilize Alocasia Yucatan Queen
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Alocasia Yucatan Queen after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I got 4 new house plant babies yesterday while at a plant nursery and I’m so excited to watch them grow! I’ve already repotted them so they have more room and I always start my new plants off with fresh soil. Neon Pothos, Zebra plant, polka dot plant, and an Alocasia Dragon Scale plant baby (one of my dream plants😍). 🪴

I don’t know what wrong’s with my #BlackVelvetAlocasia I changed pots the other day, but nothing else has changed. Indoors, no direct sunlight, east-facing window, and the leaves are no longer taut. 🙁 I don’t see a sign of pests…am I overwatering? Underwatering? Any help is greatly appreciated! 🌱🪴💚

Droopy Leaves 😭 Hi everyone! I’m new here so not really sure how this works! Anyway, I brought home a few days ago my new #AlocasiaFrydek and the leaves started getting droopy and facing down all of a sudden, I did repot it after this started happening but the situation doesn’t seem to be changing. Despite this the plant is making a new leaf, idk of the two things could be somehow correlated!

Pests? I’ve noticed some holes in the leaves of my Yucatán Princess. I haven’t had her long and she dropped two leaves a few days ago. The nursery had warned me that she probably would but now I’m noticing this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Only had her for a little while, watered twice (first time bottom watered and lost two leaves so im only top watering my alocasia henceforth) both times i gave her about 1/2 cup and she drank about half of that. 2nd watering was today. she sits on a table feet away from an east facing window. #alocasiaredsecret #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia #AlocasiaCupreaRedSecret
