Verbascum seeds

I received my order in a timely fashion, and when it was time to plant, I opened the seed packets (I purchased two) and saw that the pellets that encase the seeds had all disintegrated and were reduced to pellet dust. This was the case in both seed packets.
So I emptied the contents into a small bowl filled with a shallow amount of water. That allowed me to see the tiny seeds, and I then used an eyedropper to pull up each seed with some water and then squeeze the eye dropper bulb to deposit them one by one in each peat pellet. Perhaps the bubble wrap they were mailed in had been crushed during shipment, and this caused the pellets encasing the seeds to disintegrate. A small box might have been the better way to send these seeds in the mail. Nothing has sprouted yet, but it does take a while for these seeds to germinate. Fingers crossed…
