Two valleys of daffodils bloom in Carpathians
Daffodils have reached peak bloom in the Carpathian mountains in Ukraine
The National Parks of Ukraine wrote about this on Facebook, Espreso reports.
However, as the post warns, the flowering time is limited to 10 days. Therefore, those who want to see the beauty of the flower valleys should hurry up.
Valley of daffodils - the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.
Narcissus Valley - the Skolivski Beskydy National Park.
“Daffodils do not bloom for long, about 10 days. You still have time to see and smell them this year!” the post says.
For reference
In Ukraine, daffodils grow only in Zakarpattia. The most famous place is the Valley of Daffodils in the Khust region. It is protected in the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve. The Narcissus Valley is the only place in the world where daffodils grow naturally at an altitude of only 180-200 meters above sea level. There is also a smaller valley in the village of Bushtyn in the Tiachiv region. The high-altitude wild narrow-leaved daffodils that bloom in the valley are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
Every year in spring, thousands of tourists come to Zakarpattia to admire the blooming of the Narcissus Valley - a fascinating, unique sight! Thousands of flowers blooming at the same time seem to create an incredible snow-white floral carpet among the picturesque Carpathian Mountains and dense forests. Those who have had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy this spectacle say that it is a real magic of nature.
Today, the Narcissus Valley in the Khust region is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Such a massive simultaneous flowering of the Narcissus Valley is almost unique in the world.
