Ludacris names his top four entertainers: Ludacris, Dwyane Wade, Chris Brown, and Barack Obama

With eight albums and roles in box office blockbusters and Academy Award winners, Ludacris is a one-seed in the entertainment world. And the Atlanta-born rapper correctly chose three one-seeds to make the Final Four—Duke, Wisconsin, and Kentucky, even choosing the Wildcats to beat Notre Dame on the way.

His bracket’s looking pretty good, as is his weekend. Ludacris stars in Furious 7, which hits theaters today, and his newest album, “Ludaversal,” was released this week. He sat down to talk about both and offer his March Madness picks for our Celeb Pick ‘Em series.

If there were a March Madness for entertainers instead of basketball, who are the other three one-seeds (besides yourself)?

Chris Brown. Dwyane Wade. And Barack Obama.

If you were coaching a one-seed, what would your pregame speech be before playing a lesser team?

“Do you want me to lose my job?” That’s all I need to say, because if you care about me as a coach then you don’t want me to lose my job. And you’re going to go out there and win. Who needs to make some long speech? Just say that one simple thing and you’re good.

What advice would you give to young rappers and actors who are trying to make it?

Believe in yourself, and it can work if you work.

What show needs to add you to its cast?

I say Game of Thrones, man, because I would whoop ass on that show.

What’s the most random thing you’ve ever experienced on set or in studio?

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg

I guess working with Snoop Dogg in the studio. Being high as hell and probably hallucinating, seeing all types of things.

Plenty of athletes have tried to rap. Who’s a celebrity you’d like hear give it a try?

I would love to hear Obama rap. That’d be pretty cool. He’d have a political agenda and he’d have a message in all of his songs. And I’d love to hear Samuel Jackson rap, because you’d have to bleep every word.

Ludacris leads all our celebs so far with his picks. Check out his bracket here, and how he stacks up in the leaderboard below.
