Nederlands: Portret van Carel Quina (1620-89), ridder van het Heilige Graf, Amsterdams reiziger naar Azië. Ten halven lijve, zittend aan een tafel achter een atlas opengeslagen op een kaart van Europa en het Midden-Oosten; in de rechterhand een passer. Links een bediende met een schaal fruit, in het verschiet een gezicht op de Sint Pieter te Rome. Een hondje zit op het Perzisch kleed dat op tafel ligt.
