The latest episode of the Pokémon anime in Japan has shared a special reward for Pokémon Sword and Shield fans. Players with the eighth generation installment will be able to get their hands on Ash's Dragonite at no additional cost. This version of Dragonite is in an ideal post-game condition. We tell you how you can get it and what abilities it has.

How to get Ash's Dragonite for free for Pokémon Sword and Shield?

  • In Pokémon Sword and Shield, open the menu and select the Mystery Gift option.
  • Select the option get by code or password
  • Start the internet connection
  • Once the drop-down menu opens, enter the following code in capital letters: UMI1N0KESH1N
  • Select Ash's Dragonite gift (the trainer's name will be in Japanese). You will see the transition of obtaining the gift. The code will be available until September 8th.

When you complete the steps you must go to a Pokémon Center to access your PC. Dragonite will be in the last space of your boxes. Once you redeem it, it will remain in your game forever. Of course, you must do it within the limit indicated above, otherwise, the code will expire and will no longer be available.

Ash's Dragonite has level 80 and the following stats:
