Vitis Vinifera Chasselas Ciotat care
Plant the Vitis Vinifera Chasselas Ciotat in a sunny area of the garden which has moist, well drained soils where it will thrive and flourish. Being self climbing won’t need to be staked that often and can grow up trees and walls very easily. In the first year or two of planting it is recommended to remove flowers which will focus the growth and attention on the root system of the plant making a strong foundation. In early winter it is recommended to prune 5 or so, side branches and any which become dead or damaged to encourage a more healthy vigorous growth.
