Foeniculum Vulgare ‘Purpureum’, commonly known as bronze fennel is a bushy, upright deciduous perennial with fine feathery leaves of purple and bronze colouring, followed by wonderful flat flower heads of yellow in July and August. The Foeniculum Vulgare ‘Purpureum’ makes a lovely centrepiece in planting schemes and with lovely height and bright summer yellow flowers is a fair summer favourite.
