The Seagull Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida was built in 1948 and closed for good on December 31st, 2019. It was sold to a developer who plans to gut it and turn it into a modern luxury hotel. After dozens of terrible reviews on Yelp stating how dated and dirty it was, I doubt it would have lasted much longer anyway. RIP Seagull Hotel after 71 years in business.
