Innisfallen Greenhouses, Springfield, Ohio. 41 Our Splendid Collection of Ever=Blooming Cannas * « Including the two New Giant Orchid-Flowering Cannas, ITALIA and AUSTRIA, which are unquestionably the grandest of all introductions in any class of flowering plants yetoffered. We can furnish larger clumps (4 to 6 eyes) by express for 10c additional to price named. Charles Henderson—This is a comparatively new Canna, and ac- knowledged as the standard crim- son; a very compact grower, elegant dark green foliage on purple stems; grows about three feet. The flower spikes are of the largest size, the petals are very broad and beautifully recurved, which, in addition to forming a mag- nificent globular head of perfect florets, keep the truss clear of all faded flowers, • The color is a deep rich crimson with a yellow flame at the throat. It is easily the finest crimson Canna. Price, 1 5c each. Duchess De Mortemarte—A vig- orous grower with large leaves, throwing up numerous flower stalks; flowers large and round, composed of large, round petals; color yellow, very bright, lightly dotted carmine; extremely fine. Price, 10c each. Egandale — Probably the finest bedder of its color, if not of the whole list. Deep soft red, compact spikes of medium size; a wonder- fully profuse bloomer, beds of it be- ing literally a mass of red; foliage a beautiful rich purple. Price, 1 5c. Florence Vaughan—A splendid yellow Canna of large size and per- fect form, petals being broader than Madame Crozy ; color brilliant gold- en-yellow, dotted with scarlet; vig- orous grower and very free bloomer; one of the best Cannas ia cultivation. Price, 10ceach. Geoff rey St.Hillaire—Rich bronzy §urple foliage, and large well-shaped owers of rich glowing scarlet over- laid with orange. Price, 15c each. Madame Crozy—The grandest of all varieties. Color a brilliant vermilion-scarlet, bordered with deep golden-yellow; the flowers are borne in great clusters and crown the plant with a blaze of glowing colors. The foliage is vivid green, broad and massive; the habit of the plant is eompact and vigorous, its natural height being rarely more than four feet, but the flowers form when it is scarcely a foot high, and continue coming on the plant until frost. Price. 10c each. Paul Marquant—A very beautiful and dis- tinct variety; the individual flowers are the largest among the race and are a peculiar shade of salmon, overlaid lightly with soft rosy- carmine, very pleasing to the eye. It can be planted with telling effect in juxtaposition with any variety, crimson, yellow, red or spotted. Price, 10c each.

The new Giant Golden Lily-flowering Canna. The claim of Italia to the title of Orchid-flowered is not bet- ter than this to Lily-flowered. It is, in truth, a giant, with flowers six to eight inches across, a giant in its su- perb growth, young plants set out in June forming dense spreading clumps, with 20 to 25 stems six feet high, and every stem surmounted with a spike of its glorious, golden, lily-like flowers, a giant in its grand folia^ t magnificent giant in its every attribute. Price, 1 5c each. % Alphonse Bouvier—As fine a variety in its color of soft, bright cardinal-red as is Mme. Crozy among the orange-scar- lets; the truss is enormous, composed of quantities of flow- ers ; spikes freely produced ; a magnificent grower; produces a mass of brilliant red. Price, 10c each. New Yellow Canna, Burbank—A clear, beautiful yellow- flowered Canna, flowers of magnificent size—fully twice as large as Mad. Crozy—the three upper petals spreading fully seven inches, and the form is really semi-double ; toward the inner part of the lower petals show fine crimsons pots; all the rest of the flower is of a most beautiful rich canary-yellow. The plant is a very strong grower, five to six feet high, with rich green leaves, very wide almost to the tips; its leaves are much thicker than those of the ordinary Cannas, with a texture not unlike the rubber plant. This variety stands the sun admirably. Price, 25c. ITALIA. Flowers of enormous size, eight inches across, and of entirely distinct form. One thousand dollars ($1,000.00) was refused by the originator for one plant of it and Austria. The color-effect is after the style ; of Queen Charlotte, bright scarlet, surrounded by a t golden-yellow band. The flowers are produced in im- ; mense heads, about sixteen inches long, and are borne 1 well above the foliage. Each flower has five petals ; almost equal in size, giving the flowers superb grace t and finish. Produces spike after spike of gorgeous ; flowers ; foliage large and massive. Price, 20c each. Queen Charlotte, New German Canna—A most distinct rich crimson-scarlet with wide gold border on every petal. A very handsome plant, medium in height, compact grower, broad, green leaves. It is a profuse bloomer, and the flower spike, which is full and well-formed, stands well above the leaves, yet not so tall as to appear drawn or ungainly. Price, 15c each. Statutaire Pulconsis—As fine a variety in its color of soft, bright cardinal red, as is Madame Crozy among the orange- scarlets ; the truss is enormous, composed of quantities of flowers; spikes freely produced; a magnificent grower; pro- duces a mass of brilliant red. Price, 10c each. Souv. De Asa Gray—Plant very vigorous; foliasre green and produced in profusion. Flowers very large; beautiful citron-yellow, striped with flame. Price, 10c each.
