Summary[edit]

Description Campanula pelviformis "Endemic to the east of Crete, this plant has erect stems which are often woody, and hairy leaves, lanceolate, toothed and stalked at the base. The flowers are bluish-violet, up to 4cm, and take the form of a 'stamna' or water jar, divided at the top into lobes which fold backwards. The calyx has swellings and sharply-pointed lobes. Found on rocky slopes and in scrub."
