llol.... This won't actually make it to screen, as much as I'd love to see it.

 All I can think is some Hollywood exec got the pitch and heard "cute fluffy animals and comic books" and thought cha-ching!   Just no.  Don't do it.

You know how many comics get optioned every year? So many. How many of those that are optioned get made into films? Probably less than 1%.

I would be shocked to see this make it to the screen....

Why would you make a movie based on this comic?

ok vertigo is owned by dc right so lets get this straight they wont make a wonder woman or justice leauge movie but instead we get a cyber bunny seriously?

this is more likely to fall flat if done halfway

For the people that seem to hate the idea of having a movie based on it

We3 is an awesome comic and is the first reason why Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely are considered the dynamic duo of creative teams. Before Batman and Robin, before All Stars Superman and before New X-men, they did this and it's one of the best things I've read from Morrison, which me being a big fan means a lot.

That being said, unless someone in a studio reads the original graphic novel, this won't make it into a film

Can't wait to see it!

I really want this to go to the big screen, its an aWESOME comic. And GAH YES!!!

One more thing

I want this to be Live action with what he said it would be done as. CGI and Puppetry because animated it wouldnt hold what I want to see it in a movie format for me. Animated it would look cartoony and in the comic it is far from cartoony.

Seriously some of the scenes in the comic....AWESOME

One of my favorite things about We3 was the art, the actual pencilling as well as the layouts (like the one above). Looks cool on a page, not sure how it would work on screen. 

This has young Spielberg written all over it.  Fingers crossed.

 I would love to hear more news on this, crazy mix of cuddly pets, government conspiracies, sick dark humor and ultra violence
 
Maybe if Peter Jackson was still making those sick gorefest movies
 
I'm not sure this will mix with Hollywood, not sure if any good Director would take it up today, the last thing we would need to see is some half assed RobZombie effort
