Football managers; we all love em, right? Especially on consoles! We've all played Premier Manager, LMA Manager, Player Manager and so on. Hell, I just bought Football Manager Handheld on PSP, because it's the ideal way to play!

Anyway, GK - Giant Killers on Sega Dreamcast is just that. Surprising no one, the sim was released only in Europe. It even holds the title of being the only football manager in the entire Dreamcast library. Therefore, it is the best one!

Sometimes, a game will catch my eye that I've never heard before. When I look it up, it turns out that the series has dozens of releases. Today, that was Daisenryaku, a franchise of strategy war games.

Going all the way up to Nintendo Switch, almost all of these were Japan exclusive, but one or two did make it overseas. Most notably, Iron Storm on Sega Saturn is a Daisenryaku iteration. There are even a few spinoffs, including one with anime girls.

Make war crimes kawaii again 💖

Earthworm Jim was ported to just about anything. Yet, the Master System version is another Brazil exclusive.

Technically, the mascot game is just a slightly alerted version of the Game Gear port, but it trades the bigger screen for a lower framerate. And, you know, you don't need a billion batteries to play it. What an oddity.

While the Sega Saturn is underrated, not every game was a sleeper hit. Battle Monsters is one of the most nauseating games out there.

The fighter is a series of bad decisions; cluttered interface, bouncing camera and way too busy environments. Top that off with the most bootleg version of Mortal Kombat and you've got a game that's so bad that it's funny..but also not exactly good.
