Today we had the Venezuela bar from the Chocolate Passport Box that Charlie S. bought from Trader Joe’s.
The last time I had this bar, I thought it tasted like coffee. I am not sure I still think that, but there was a strong roasted flavor in this bar, so perhaps the cacao nibs were cooked a little more than usual. I still liked this bar a lot, and so did my co-workers, who were amazed at the strength of the aftertaste, since there are no other ingredients in this bar.

I get headaches from chocolates but this is the only chocolate bar that did not give me a headache. I am trying to find them so I can buy more where can I buy them from?
These are a seasonal item at Trader Joe’s, sold around Christmas time, in a box with other bars. They should be in stock now…or soon!
