Regions

Antofagasta, Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso and Metropolitana

Distribution and habitat

Distributed from northern to central Chile. Its has an almost continuous range over 600 km, between Domeyko in Atacama Region and Santiago. A historic record from Antofagasta Region has since not been confirmed (Watson & Flores, 2010C). Within its range it is widespread and common and occurs at elevations from near the coast to 1200 m.

Habit

Slender twining perennial climber to 3 m. Flowering from August to October.
