'NOBLE CROWN' Tree Peony (Paeonia x rockii 'noble crown')
The 7-inch, purple-red flowers of flare tree peony 'Noble Crown' (Jing Zi Guan Yin Xian) are very fragrant. The blossoms are fully-double on mature 5-foot trees. This tree peony has a very nice, upright carriage of strong vigorous growth and produces prodigious numbers of flowers.

Timothy Ottewell The peonies looked really good. Root in good shape. The buds looked pretty good also. About a foot of snow on the ground. Move the snow and then planted them. Put some mulch on top and coved them with snow. We see how they turn out in the spring.
