Could be Pyrrhocactus wagenknechtii (Ritter)
or Neochilenia wagenknechtii (Backeberg)

which is
Eriosyce heinrichiana ssp. intermedia var. intermedia (Kattermann)
Eriosyce heinrichiana (Ferryman)
The flowers with the narrow base would be a match for heinrichiana.

Thank you very much

I think the previous owner of this plant may have replaced Pyrrhocactus wagneknechtii by E subgibbosa wagenknechtii

Maybe the previous owner did change the name on the label. The plant and flower also matches Eriosyce curvispina v. tuberisulcata though.

I thought Neochilenia fobeana was a synonym of Eriosyce taltalensis ssp taltalensis?

The problem is that you never know what you have when growing a Neochilenia fobeana.
I didn´t find it listed in the NCL.
Kattermann listed it under : Names with doughtful application, posssibly referable to E. talt. ssp. paucicostata.
Ritter was not sure which plant was described under Nc. fobeana by Backeberg.
Backeberg described Nc. fobeana without type locality.

... and everything in cultivation as N. fobeana is at least a couple of generations descended from a plant found in a box in someone's attic :)

Wow, nice!
The flowers seem quite large. Maybe it's just the plant to flower size ratio?

My E. esmeraldana has pretty big flowers. The main head is about 5cm (two inches) across and the flowers are bigger. Here it is last summer with a single flower.

Eriosyce_aerocarpa_FK63 . The porrect and long bristles indicate E. aerocarpa already.

Eriosyce_napina_v_duripulpa_RMF 277. The bud looks different than aerocarpa.

Awesome!
I haven't come across E. esmeraldana yet. Or if I did I mistook it for E. occulta :| How can I tell these apart?

Love the bud on FK63! In most, if not all Cacti, the buds are just as cool as the flowers. In some cases cooler! 8)
