This BMW Z1 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1989 BMW Z1 is one of approximately 8,000 examples produced from 1989 through 1991 and spent time in Germany and Holland prior to being imported to the US in 2018, where it was acquired by the seller in 2020. The car is finished in red over gray nubuck and patterned leather upholstery and powered by a 2.5-liter M20 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 16″ alloy wheels, a black soft top, vertically retractable doors, power windows, and a Philips AM/FM cassette stereo. Work performed in 2020 included replacement of the timing belt and tensioners, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, and clutch release cylinder. A brake fluid flush and an oil change were completed in April 2022. This Z1 is offered with a tool kit, a battery charger, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The seller notes a crack in the left fender, which can be viewed in the gallery. The front fender liners were replaced in 2021.
