It was situated right on the beach with easy access to the beach & kite- surfing school.
Some of the staff could have been a bit more friendly.

I loved the fact it was on the beach...a perfect spot...
The location is outside the town and a taxi to town costs 12 euros each way...

Very relaxing with lovely relaxing music which allowed us to switch off and enjoy our 3 days. On day one we decided to try to extend for a further day. We would recommend to anyone who does not want a pretensious hotel, busy and busling, the like of which offer 5 star luxury, but cannot cvompete with the laid back atmosphere enjoyed by all who stay there.
Maybe could do with some general

The location is exelant for day trips. The staff are all so friendly and there is lots to do. The restaurant was the hi light, sitting overlooking the beach in the evening after a fabulous dinner will be the most memorable of our honeymoon.
Some of the things we didn't like was that the previous occupier of our room must have been a heavy smoker and everything smelled strongly of tobacco for the whole four days. They avertised the room as a superior bunglow But we had no view whatsoever from our room and no electricity on our last day to shower or wash But mainly it was that everything was so over priced. We wanted to learn kite surfing and were told it would take about 8 lessons @ 150€ a lesson and the horse riding is 54€ an hour which we found far more expensive than London.

We loved Hotel Dos Mares for it's 'laid back' feel. It's a real sand and no shoes hotel where you can chill from the hurly burly of the outside world. The position was excellent, right on the beach, and the staff were always helpful, friendly and with a smile on their faces.

The location - right on the beach with beautiful views. The hotel itself had nice tennis courts and right beside windsurf hire and riding stables. The bungalow we stayed in was spacious and had plenty of storage and a great shower.
Breakfast - milk was warm, food was rather basic. No real atmosphere in the bar/restuarant in the evenings. The bungalow was a little shaby with wicker blinds for curtains (we had to use beach towels to keep out the light!)

The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of dishes to choose from. The room itself was fairly quiet and had spectacular views to the sea and the African Rift.

Satisfactory service overall. The breakfast here was nice, and the drinks were served hot. ☕
