Stacy Ingber joins the Dean’s Office as the special assistant to Dean Willow Bay. For the last 13 years, she has worked at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD), most recently as the associate director for Programming & Operations. During that time, she was responsible for creating and organizing the center’s event programs, professional education, and customized public diplomacy trainings. In addition to public and private convenings, Ingber also oversees operational issues, partnership development, and cultivation, as well as CPD’s profile-raising, publicity, and branding.

Ingber came to USC in 2008 as the project manager for the Network Culture Project of USC Annenberg and the School of Cinematic Arts, where she oversaw programming, research, publications, and budget. She also supervised “Inspiring the Technological Imagination,” a project funded by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation as part of their Digital Media and Learning initiative.

Prior to coming to USC, Ingber was vice president of The Jefferson Institute, a public policy institute that fosters creative problem-solving. Her role included strategy and development of new initiatives, organizing interdisciplinary meetings and large-scale, multi-day events, networking, board development, and public relations.

From 1990—1996, Stacy Ingber was the Liberal Studies Program Coordinator at Antioch University in Los Angeles, creating curricular activities, organizing public events, and recruiting faculty. In November 2012, Ingber completed the 2012 Leadership Los Angeles Fellowship sponsored by the Southern California Leadership Network at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 Ingber completed the master’s program in public diplomacy at USC Annenberg.
