I don’t particularly like any of the bromeliads commonly used in landscaping here in South Florida, but I especially detest these particular plants outside our office! The toothed margins have gotten me a couple times, but mostly I just don’t like the color of the leaves. But once they started blooming, I knew I’d use this species when I was at the office all day. Even I have to admit that the orange inflorescences look pretty neat! 🙂
