Beach description
The coastline is long and wide, dotted with fine golden sand. Water in the North Sea is not warmed up more than +20 degrees, bathing conditions are not available. A strong cold wind blows on the coast, waves rise. Along the perimeter of the beach there are high dunes, the landscape is picturesque, and the landscapes are endless and flat.
Vacationers get to the resort by tram. Qaikdown's infrastructure is developed at the highest level - for the comfort and cosiness of vacationers there is everything you need. Rent housing in hotels on the beach or in the city. It is possible to have a snack at the many restaurants and cafes on the beach, in the city center. People buy groceries and necessary goods at local stores. Tourists can have fun at the Aquarium and Madurodam - Miniature Park, located near the beach. Various events are held annually, for example, in June, a mass celebration takes place in honor of the first catch of herring. The conditions at the resort are ideal for doing various sports:

The best time to visit The Netherlands for a beach vacation is typically during the summer months, from June to August. During this period, the country enjoys the warmest weather, with average temperatures ranging from 17°C to 20°C, which can occasionally rise above 25°C.
- June - The early summer month offers pleasant temperatures and longer days, perfect for enjoying the seaside and getting a head start on the summer crowds.
- July - As the peak of summer, July brings the warmest weather, ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and engaging in various beach activities. However, it's also the busiest month, so expect more tourists.
- August - The weather remains warm, and the North Sea is at its most inviting temperature. August is also a great time for water sports and beach festivals.
For those seeking a quieter beach experience, the late spring (May) and early fall (September) can also be good options, with fewer tourists and mild weather, though the sea might be too chilly for swimming. Regardless of when you visit, the Dutch coastline offers a unique beach vacation with charming seaside towns, expansive dunes, and wide sandy beaches.
