Trapezaki beach
It is located in the southern part of Kefalonia in the vicinity of Lourdate and completes the long coastline originating from this settlement. The beach is sandy, relatively small (only 250 meters in length), and is surrounded by picturesque slopes densely covered with pine trees. Convenient parking allows comfortably parking the car in the shade, a few meters from the beach. Tourists are offered sun loungers and parasols for a fee, and lovers of maximum comfort can enjoy the four-poster beach beds.

Beach description
The sea is relatively calm and the water is clear which attract a lot of families with young children here. Underwater swimmers won't be disappointed either - many small rocks and underwater stones, with fish and other fauna gathering around them, can be found on the sea bottom.
A small harbor with moored fisherman boats is located near the beach. The Denis tavern is also located there, open for all to try some tasty and cheap food while admiring the beautiful view of the sea on the cozy open terrace.
Those who like walking will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes and smell the pines around the local hills.
The best way to get to the beach is by car or by bus from Lourdata. There's a 1,5-km long road leading straight to the beach, surrounded by conifer trees.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
